Born and raised in a family deeply rooted in music and education, Jonathan's journey into the world of early childhood music education was inevitable.Jonathan's love for music blossomed at a young age when he began piano lessons at the age of five. Throughout his childhood, he explored various musical instruments and genres, developing a profound appreciation for the power of music in shaping young minds.Driven by a desire to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families in his community, Jonathan took on leadership roles within the company. His dedication, leadership skills, and ability to inspire others eventually led his to the position of Director of Kindermusik with Musical Tots Studios.As Director, Jonathan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, from curriculum development to staff training and customer relations. He leads by example, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where children can explore the joys of music in a safe and supportive setting.Under Jonathan's guidance, Kindermusik with Musical Tots Studios has flourished, expanding its reach and enriching the lives of countless families. Through his unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation, Jonathan continues to inspire both his team and the families they serve, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of music.Ms. Cecilia Wong
Studio Manager, Kindermusik Trainer, Ukulele
Cecilia graduated with a Bachelor of Music from University Science Malaysia, and has been a licensed Kindermusik educator since 2012. After graduating, she gained experience in teaching and coordinating programmes in early childhood education. She conducted Kindermusik lessons in several kindergartens between 2012-2016.
Later on, she developed her career further in managing an English language centre.
Cecilia’s deep interest in music and movement has grown from the first day she discovered this program, Kindermusik. Throughout her life she believes that music is a universal language that connects people of all ages and diverse cultures. Enabling children to experience, learn, and grow through music is very fulfilling for both the kids and herself.
Mr. William Tan
Studio Marketing, Kindermusik, Ukulele, Trumpet, Trombone, Nuvo - Jsax, Toot, Dood
William has enjoyed performing music his entire life. Mr William studied jazz music from Mahidol College of Music, Bangkok, Thailand. He is also currently pursuing his music degree with Open College of Arts, Sheffield, United Kingdom.
William performed actively with the local music community in Penang and had many venturous jazz music performing tours around Asia throughout the year of 2016-2024. William had been teaching private music lessons and brass performing for young learners as young as 6 years old. A proliferate trumpet and trombone player, under his tutelage, numerous young brass musicians in Penang also attained and passed certification on ABRSM brass exams. He is dedicated to continue to nurture and cultivate musicians unto every child that enjoys learning music, and believes that music learning should start at a young age. Now William is putting his expertise into good use, as our Kindermusik teacher and instrumental Jsax teacher.
Ms. Belle Cheah

Graduated in Diploma Mass communication and major in broadcasting. Growing up, Belle was surrounded with musical family members in a living. This helped Belle cultivate her joy for music and be passionate about it.
Music is an integral part of her life and it’s a universal language that allows everyone to connect. Belle also find joy in teaching young children music. Kindermusik has given her an opportunity to help children in their journey with Music and she continues to cultivate the passion for music in them.
Belle plays saxophone and performed on the stages around the Penang since young. Further growing up as a young musician, she achieved official piano performance certifications and showing good musical skills in other instrument practices as well like saxophone, violin and ukulele.
Belle is currently working on her rock and pop vocal teaching certifications and promise to bring more music exposures to the young children that she teaches.
Ms. Pei Shan

Graduated from Taiwan University. Pei Shan had worked all around asia with her experiences in teaching young children. She migrate back to Penang after 3 years of teaching experiences in Taipei. Pei Shan also worked herself up in some of the prominent preschool in Penang as a preschool teacher.
Pei Shan now studies ukulele rock school syllabus and teaching side by side on our ukulele after school programs around Penang and in our studio.
Pei Shan also manages all of our studio administration works and client networking in musical tots studios.
Ms. Carol Tan
Kindermusik, Piano, Violin
Holder of London College of Music ALCM pianoforte performance, Carol started her career in 2001 teaching piano and violin to young children.
She has dedicated her life to teaching and making music with young children, through various platforms and preschools. To her, it is all worth-while, when watching her students grow from toddlers to young musicians to accomplished instrumentalists. She has recently joined Kindermusik Penang, and is bringing her wealth of experience and knowledge to her classroom teaching here.

Kindermusik, PianoMs. Jess is our part time school Kindermusik and ukulele teacher.Ms. Jess began her musical journey at a young age, taking piano and vocal lessons and participating in school competition. She embarked on her journey to piano and vocal success by the renowned teacher, Siew Mei Ling. Following that, she refined her singing skills under SOPRANO Joydce Khoo Siew Gim who encouraged her to pursue a career in the musical art. She had done two voice recitals in Tunghai University and joined a lot of choir performances and opera productions. She obtained a Bachelor of Music (majoring in vocal) from Tunghai University in 2021. She started her work as a kindergarten teacher once she back from Taiwan. Following that, she started her music academy in Pizzicanto Music Academy which specializes in vocal and piano performance. In year 2023, she won the Excellent Prize in Chin Yong Youth Vocal competition. Currently, she is part-time kindermusik teacher in Kindermusik with Musical Tots Studio and a music teacher giving private lessons.Ms. Thania Thompson
